I met Wazza last week in Costa Brava Spain. His son Kit was competing at MIC football for United U12. I was there for the same reason as my son competed for an Australian team in the same age group.
Watched the United Europa game at the same bar along with some dad's, I left the bar at 3am and he was still there with other United dads drinking, I couldn't keep up!
Saw him again the next day watching his son's match which played before my son's match, it was 10am and he had another beer in his hand! Absolute machine!
Was also surreal to see him be a normal dad among other dad's supporting their kids. Wild
Jay. You talked about being a recovering alcoholic. I think you are very brave talking about it mate 😊. My dad is an ex soldier who was in the British Royal Engineers Regiment from 1976 to 2000. He is a recovering alcoholic too, he has not touched alcohol since 2018. He has PTSD from the Army 😢. He was really ill and was told by doctor's he had to stop drinking. He has stopped drinking since and he is a much healthier person physically and mentally 😊. I am sure you are doing much better physically and mentally too Jay 😊.
People met, Billy Bob Thornton, gave him directions when he was dating Angelina. Nice guy. Hosted the after party for Costner’s 3000 miles to Graceland, super nice guy. Loves Patron Silver
Ste just went and watched the Tranmere analysis - you look like a different person, fair play mate.

Just finished reading Evras' book. Excellent read. Really tough start in life and wasn't a simple pathway to make it to the highest level.

If the Jack Daniels water is from the cave spring that’s actually pretty cool
From Nashville here. If you guys make a trip out this way you’ve got to visit the small mom and pop country diners. Best food in the south
