We need about 7 or 8 Parks , people willing to understand and play for the team ,the club and the collective before thinking about himself. Not only do we need quality in the squad , We need passion and effort , We need characters, Men willing to take it in their stride head up , chest out , shoulders back ready to go to battle and compete for every single ball no excuses. If we see heart and passion week in week out that's a starting point .
Someone remembers that Panathanaikos goal. Was so many passes to that goal, the media covered it intensively for days. It wasnt even our winning era - happened in that era between Beckham leaving and Rooney Ronaldo emerging as our stars by 2006.
If only there was a role that could somehow combine the responsibilities of a Sporting Director, Technical Director, Director of Football, and Heach Coach all under one, unified view. Oh yeah, there was for years - manager. That’s what every club used to do for decades before it all became a load of vague, bureaucratic, corporate jargon bullshit.
