Agree with what Ronnie says. There's always a massive hole in midfield which Mainoo, Casemiro or Ugarte don't have the legs to fill. Would love to see a really athletic midfielder beside Bruno & a new goalkeeper. Maybe Zirkzee or Hojlund will get more goals with Mbeumo & Cunha playing behind them.
Agree so much with the point on our midfield! We haven't lost so much physical presence. We haven't replaced Carrick, Pogba, or Matic. They all had strong presence with very good to great ball control, especially Pogba and Carrick. Even losing McTominay as a physical threat was noticeable. Our midfield is much smaller, which is crazy to say when you realize Casemiro and Ugarte are 6ft. Bruno, Mainoo, Collyer, Mount, and even Jack Fletcher are all under 6ft and quite lean. It's just tough because it looks like they're physically overwhelmed sometimes by teams.
This is no hate by any means. Just thinking finding a bigger and stronger midfielder who can dominate a bit to get the ball back to any of those players would help them so much.
Lower table teams in PL are becoming more and more technical.. we need a MF who can hold things together and control games better. That would help us hold onto 1-0 wins which would help us more better than 2-2/3-3 draws

After that Leeds game, we'd be mental to not prioritize a midfielder. That was a terrifyingly bad midfield display
