Cunha is why we shouldn't be so stat driven. Just watch the game and be entertained

Cunha hasn’t gotten into goals or assists yet, but he’s so absolutely critical to controlling the game. He’s also just incredibly enjoyable to watch with the ball. You know who else is doing the same, but has a couple of goals? Sesko… that lad has some serious technical skill for some that tall and that quick.

Having Fin on here is an elite move. Hope Jay's enjoying his holiday tho 🤣

On xG, at least the last 5 season, the premier league winner has finished either 1st or 2nd in xG. Any stat can have its flaws and not be 100% accurate. But why is it only super analyzed when its United? Its a stat you want to be good at

made a bet with my mate saying united will finish in the top 8. He's got to make me a rotisserie chicken when we do.

no mention of the 3-4-3 by the media all week 😂

Love that they made that the title of the video (watch to the end) 😂

Just gonna give a simple shout here. The opta powered xG model does account for defenders, goal keeper etc apparently. And also it is calculated with differentials of miss or hit for rebounded shots. So even if the 3 shots of Sesko is gonna give us more xG, it still wouldn’t be 2.1 if 3 shots were 0.7 xG ! It would be 0.9 ish cuz it considers multiple factors.

So yeah, xG is still the best measure to have to measure the how good in numbers

We know what you meant Joe. Pep and his ideas may have been inspired by Cruyff but the football revolution that followed him started around 2010 and is only just now coming to an end.
