Last season we scored record low goals but yet our goals conceded wasn't horrible. Defence wasn't our primary concern. We don't need 3 bodies in defence. We need three bodies in midfield. It's clear. A manager can't be stubborn about his system and not deliver results. We need to play the 4-3-3 system. I don't care Bruno missed the penalty. He doesn't miss normally. He is our most creative player. He needs to be the playmaker. Not play deep. There needs to be two players in midfield behind him. Amorim needs to change the system. That is the issue.
If you extrapolate Amorims results from 29 league games out to a full season, he gets about 36 points. Solid relegation form. We dont look like we've improved on last season. The Arsenal performance was great, but most people half expected us to be crap against Fulham, and we were. Amorim is in trouble.
Defending corners and set pieces is always going to let the side down if management can't recognize how important the back post is. I've seen pub teams defend them better ffs
What gets me is casemeiro was used an impact sub for majority of Amorim’s reign because we all know he isn’t quick or athletic enough to do 90 mins. New season he’s back in playing again. Shocking
Only one problem at UNited. Bruno. I am an old Marine and when I was in dark situations it was my sargeant who I depended on. He was not this courageous hero who took on a dozen enemy single handed. He was the calm presence that made sure our weapons were ready, made sure we changed our socks during rainfall, making sure that we had the supplies we needed. He gave us confidence to do our jobs. Bruno rants and raves, yells at everyone and blames others for the mistakes even when it was his mistake. He runs all over the pitch into his team mates areas instead of staying in his position. IF I was on the M60 machine gun my sargeant never pushed me aside and started firing it as he had faith in my ability even when I was scared to death; he gave me the confidence to keep going. This is what a leader does, the little things as well as the big things. Once Bruno leaves the club the players will play more effectively as all they have to focus on is their own responsibilities.

Amorim's record at United is disastrous. Stop with the maybe, coulda, shoulda’s. He may be great in other leagues but the PL has found him out.
