All of what you said (negative) about DeGea not being a modern keeper, can also be applied to Maguire. He is not a modern CB, but you all cut him so much slack. What's up with that?
We should be tapping up Sanchez from Brighton to take over from De Gea in 23/24. In the meantime give Dave license to leave his 6 yard box occasionally
I felt there was alot to be genuinely optimistic about. Cards on the table; he's the manager I've wanted for a long time; he was my first choice "go-to" after Naglesmann joined bayern.
But I thought he struck all the right notes. He needs patience, support, time and backing in the market. I'm quite excited.
Lads you mentioned City and they have had a good structure even when the new owners came in they just took Barcelonas structure. Our Structure has been shambolic since Sir Alex retired.
It doesn't really matter who we sell or keep. Michael Carrick retired in 2018. 4 years and we still haven't replaced him. The owners don't have a clue and neither did that plank of wood. The money is never invested wisley. Spent 70 mil 20/21 window on 4 players with only one of them in the squad and he was the second cheapest
Conte works at spurs cuz they atleast have a proper scouting network and dof that is known to be difficult in negotiations the combination of that can work with conte cuz when he wants a 32 yr old cb they can find a 25 yr old one and not over pay
