I actually watch a lot of Eredivisie because my dad's dutch, and Van De Beek is really highly rated in the Netherlands, really hard working guy, strong character and obviously has that typical Ajax footballing ability, i see him as a better version of Herrera, think he's on the same list as Saul Niguez but is considered a cheaper option.
