There is an argument to be made if we can attract a top quality RW and already having Bruno we might be better served targeting a top quality mid destroyer / enforcer ahead of another attacking mid. But if we do intend on signing another creative midfielder I have actually came to the point where i prefer Grealish over many other options. With Grealish the more I watch of him the more impressed I am , he draws so many fouls , seems to have that character , edge and fight about him that United could do more with in the squad and the distinguishing quality is that Grealish seems to step up , produce and play well even in the usual adverse conditions Villa find themselves in. It is highly impressive the numbers Grealish is putting up in a side currently in a relegation scrap. Compared to Maddison , its just the opposite , for one he is in a very good squad and against the top sides when the going gets tough or even in simply very competitive matches sometimes Maddison can disappear and doesn't always seem up for the scrap. That coupled with the facts that Grealish should likely be available (which Maddison probably will not be) and for much cheaper than James as well , just further solidifies the going for Grealish argument.
I’d go for Buendia. Norwich are likely going down. Probably cost max 25 million. Good at RW and can play at as a no.10. A creative wide man who is good in the press.
