Jay talks about how he thinks LVG didn’t get the signings he wanted. This is actually true, I once read an article where Louis said he wanted a lot of players: Kante, Mahrez, at that time! But those never happened and he got his 4th, 5th choice players he said.
When I read that and looking at that team we had and the players we got, how we played. It definitely adds up. And we all know LVG, he wouldn’t lie about this. Says enough about how Manchester United has been run
Captain is the FACE and standards of the club. Ronaldo is the only choice to represent what we should aim to be. The goat who has insane standards and has achieved it all. He leads even when we were shit. Club capt doesn’t need to play every week but he should be our voice and bar for the youth and squad to rise to. When he leaves hopefully someone else has stepped up in that year but he buys us a year to choose the future
