I think the best theory ive heard so far for the difference between last season and this one is the fitness one. And that must lie with carrick or some of the backroom staff.
Forget the goals and assists, Bruno’s overall game is a different kind of horror show. His pressing off the ball is like watching someone chase a bus they’ve already missed. His first touch is so bad the ball looks like it’s trying to escape him, and his shooting sometimes makes you wonder if the goal has personally offended him. He had the chance to square it to Mbeumo but apparently forgot passing to your teammate was an option. Instead, he keeps floating those predictable passes over defenders like he’s posting letters, and the opposition collect them like Royal Mail. As for his crossing, some of them wouldn’t make it past a dead man, never mind find a teammate. But hey, at least the goals and assists look good on paper! 😂
Cant be too harsh today. A draw away at leeds as a stand alone result would be a good point if we'd have won a few more games around it. Performance was an improvement over previous games, we just dont have an outlet so when the defence is clearing there is no striker to hold up the play and let the defence push up. Thats the problem we are having the opposition are recovering the ball way too easily.

A draw is the silent killer in the premier league. The media never jump on you when you get a draw, but you’ll end up near the bottom of the table.
