Injuries ARE definitely the reason for our 8th place finish, they limited options, they limited the standard in training, the limited competition for places. Losing more players to injury would have been catastrophic, so, you could also assume that Ten Hag didn't want to push his players as hard, protecting them from burn out, injury, suspension.
That ONE game, showed that in a match, when all the above isn't an issue, Ten Hag's Man Utd are world class.
Still buzzing after that final. Loved the Rashford pass that was in the build up to Mainoo's goal and Bruno was fantastic. Watched it with family over Pizza and Beers. Was a great day.
I was interested to learn Kobbie played futsal and it’s just a cool fact that his amazing dribbling involves a lot of close control and shielding skills that he probably developed in futsal.
