Definitely seems a lot of smoke the last few months for there to be no fire with Jadon to United. Overall despite the fee , I think he makes the most sense and is the best RW option for us , especially with Ziyech spoken for who was the best bargain for quality we could have went for at the position ; the other options the likes of Adama, Chiesa , Neres , Oyarzabal etc are not dramatically easier or drastically less expensive deals to complete , necessarily better fits for us than Sancho (for a variety of reasons) nor do they have the same potential upside as Jadon imo or the benefit of being a domestic footballer. Who knows how much money clubs will have available to spend , if transfer values will be massive affected with this whole virus mess ; that could push Dortmund to hang onto Sancho for another season hoping the global financial markets stabilize and rebound by then. But in terms of the best option , likely available with the potential / ceiling , Sancho makes the most sense all around for me.
