I have watched as many Dortmund matches as I can the last two seasons and Sancho is the real deal imo , not only the goal and assist production , but the vision , maturity , composure , choices / decision making are what impress me even more and far eclipse his years. That being said United have to be considered - being in the Prem where we have to assume he wants to return and the needed finances but I do not believe anything is close and we are going to have to fend off suitors domestically and abroad, most of which are better footballing projects and in the CL. Ntm its February and the PL is on a break so articles / reports are going for clicks. I do think Dortmund will cash in, after what will be another top season from Jadon it makes sense to sell for a huge fee this Summer and surely the player wants to leave at this point and likely went to the Bund as a stepping stone anyway.

I just would not get over confident at this stage , its far too early, Dortmund more likely than not will wait until after the Euro's to see if Jadon has a great tourney which will increase his value even more. Jadon with the offers he will have ; will have to be convinced of our footballing project & future and looking at Liverpool , City (if there is no resentment from the player or club) , Chelsea (London lad and rumored boyhood supporter of them , have the money but maybe not after Ziyech) , Bayern (always try and scoop up all the best Bund talents) , Barcelona (could do with another top forward) all of those are more attractive clubs / projects atm and I can see all of them with the resources and possible motivation to be in for Sancho. Financially I do think Jadon is well worth it based on what I have seen thus far but this saga is far from over and will surely heat up massively in the Summer window. Only a few clubs can realistically afford Sancho but no club will have a free run at such a talented young footballer.

Has United ever signed a player early? Like Liverpool did with Nabi Keita and Chelsea did with Pulisic? I think Dortmund even got Haaland in before the window actually started. I understand it's a risk, but it seems to be a factor where clubs get their targets no matter what. I would love Woodward to start doing that.

Hard to see Sancho coming if no Champions League next year.

Chelsea went and got a first choice right winger in ziyech so I don’t really think they will go out and spend 100+ million on another one when they have depth already with Willian, Pedro, Hudson odoi and even pulisic can play on the right so I hope that means we’re basically the only ones in the race for Sancho and as long as Woodward doesn’t fuck this up again like last summer I think we’ll get him come on united!!

30m for Hummels was massive money for a CB back then, bringing up Kags and the rest of klopps dortmud players sales is stupid the transfer values changed when Neymar moved. If Pulisic (who was benched for Sancho) was sold for 58m with less time on his contract then Dortmund arent going to let Sancho go for less than Dembele money with the stats hes putting up this season (does he job going forward but theres a reason dortmund concede so many)

Its a good point about Chelsea having enough wingers, but I still worry about us not having CL football.

I don't understand why he wouldn't go to City or Liverpool. Why United over those two
