Sorry to say this but Joe definitely has a picture in his mind about what type of midfielder Baleba and Partey are. One of the things Partey was known for at Arsenal was composure on the ball. You can give it to him in tight spaces and he'll resist pressure and use it well. Similar with Baleba. His body positioning and the way he takes possession is expert. Then he's got that shift where he gets away from opponents and carries the ball. The idea that either of these two guys are little more than athletic prowess is very wrong. I'm glad Finn kinda corrected Joe on that. For me Baleba is the midfielder on the list who is the most complete package, but his drop-off is a big worry. Maybe the answer is the scouts find the next Baleba, Anderson, Wharton who is probably being tapped up right now by Brighton, Brentford or Bournemouth.
