It comes as no coincidence that United's form has picked up at exactly the same time this takeover saga finally came to an end along with Sancho been completely removed from the club. The ripple effect of this throughout the club cannot be underestimated. Whatever chance some of the players had of taking the piss without being punished has also completely vanished. For the first time in over a generation, United look like they mean business setting solid foundations.
