The Grimsby keeper cared more about United losing than the United players did. Says it all really!

I honestly was just laughing last night, there was nothing else to do 😅 My 12 year old daughter was fuming, she was on Google maps seeing how faraway Grimsby was & how long it would take for us to drive there 😂 She wanted to go & whack some goals in the net for us 😅😂

We should have lost 3-0 that 3rd goal was never offside.

I think people are blowing things out of proportion in terms of Amorim wanting "resign" last season, he didn't. He made it very clear that the results last season was no where near good enough, saying that he would understand if the board didn't see him fit for this job, and would even step back if it was needed. It can get very technical when trying to decipher the human psyche, and I am by no means qualified to do so. But to me, this is a man that is VERY emotional, and very extreme in his ways of reacting to certain situations. He is a righteous man, and that is the situation we saw last season. He is the kind of guy that sacrifices himself, if he sees that as the most fair solution. But this should not be intertwined with giving up. This is not necessarily a reaction of a man giving up, but a response that gives him the platform to show how sorry he is with the current situation, and how much he blames himself for it.

it's not tactics, it's not formation, it's not the club, it's not the owner, it's not the manager. When you play a 4th division team, you could randomly select 11 players from the squad, play them as they will and they are obliged to win the match.

We act like things like this can’t happen in football we literally lost to Southend with Rooney and Ronaldo on the pitch under fergie , the problem with this team is there is way too much psychological scarring from the untold amount of humiliating defeats and performances over the years . As soon as results start going against us and the pressure grows they crumble they can’t handle the expectations of the club . The media and the fan base over the past few years have not helped in the slightest every single managers head is called for when things aren’t going well . And as for some of the supporters we all talk about rebuilds and stripping things back to go forwards in the long term . As soon as there isn’t instant success the manager needs sacking and we need to start again . Overly entitled fan base can’t handle any type of adversity, we have finished 8th and 15th the last two seasons with a large majority of the players that are still left here , we haven’t addressed major areas like the keeper , the cm , and also buying players who have played or can play the system it isn’t all on the manager this also doesn’t look good on ineos at all and as for the players done with the large majority of them overpaid , lazy , poor and not good enough for the premier league .

Until these players play like every game is a final, we can hire any coach but he'll end up like every coach before him. The players have to show character regardless of how many changes we make, they need to stop choosing games and just turn up in all the games.

We were feeling exactly the same way with ten hag last season after three games into the season, it can't be the manager, it can't be tactics because they were failing to deliver with the 433 and 4321 formation under Eth; maybe its time to accept that some of our players are uncoachable and full of flaws that can't be fixed.

When Amorim talked about "The Worst United Team Ever" it was a tongue in cheek reaction to the Media agenda, both mainstream and social, constantly serving up the most damning stats that they could find for days and days on end. The reason for his quote was quite predictably lost in translation.
