as a player, wasn't ever going to become world class, but tried his hardest, one Ronaldoesc season, and some great moments. As a Manc , so proud and grateful for what he does for kids in hardship, wish him the best after such a stressful couple of years

Let’s not forget the Andy mitten comment.

May I remind everyone that Andy Mitten, a trusted Man United journalist, stated “Every previous Man United manager has had issues with Marcus Rashford. I’ve spoken to them., I know them. They’ve told me in confidence going back years and years and years”. There is never an excuse to insult a player personally but it’s history now. Please move on. 🖖

I want to see Dorgu LWB, Amad RWB; Ugarte and Bruno in front of the back 3 (with Amorim getting a grip of Bruno in terms of staying disciplined and defending as well as trying to get forward); Mainoo at LAM and Garnacho, RAM; Zirkzee at striker.
You would have left and right footed players on both sides giving options to go outside or get inside and shoot.
Playing 5 attacking players (plus Bruno getting to the edge of the box) should see United getting more balls/players into the box to create more chances/shots at goal.
THIS would work better than having 5 defenders and a CDM (sometimes two if Collyer plays).
How can we expect to score playing a 'Keeper and 6/7 defensive players and 4/3 attackers?
Worth trying at home to Leicester.
If this configuration works, it might have a big impact on the summer transfer window.

The problem with the press conferences is he gets 10 rashford questions 1 about the actual game they are playing and 1 about what can he do to improve results

Is 'their plan' to make me hate watching football because, my god, it's working perfectly.

Laurie - good for you! The official name is Sporting Clube of Portugal to signify that the club is of the entire country and not just Lisbon. (putting flame suit on) and to separate it from the city team Porto or the Lisbon neighborhood team Benfica... a bit of Sporting banter there 🙂
