I thought Joe’s persistence with the questions about Tchouameni was great because it’s right where do the links come from if there isn’t any talk between the agent/club.
Love the channel. Always try to be positive. Delighted with Carrick. We will gave him our heart and in time he will bring us success. Long live United.
I'm happy with Carrick, I just hope we remain realistic. The gap is smaller than it has been (between us at the top), but I think it's been a poor premier League season, and the likes of Liverpool will not be that bad next year.
We're another 2 summer windows away from challenging for the major titles while competing on multiple fronts. 1 game a week is just about doable for this team.
Next season, even with a very good window, we are likely going to struggle for large periods of the season. We're losing Casemiro and even if we'd kept him probably would've struggled. So losing a leader and player of that quality is a massive hole to fill.
So we need to be realistic.
Even with our first team (under Carrick) we have struggled against low blocks and regularly get out muscled. I'm not blaming Carrick, it's the quality of the squad.
If we can get Champions league again next season, even if that's 5th, we have to see that as success.
So, I could be wrong - but didn’t Middlesbrough start to sell his best players, hence his downturn in results? I mean there’ll still be questions over him, but come on Michael - you’ve got this
Carrick outperformed the average in terms of tenure as a Championship manager at Middlesboro. Anecdotally, I have seen a few of their fans say he wasn't backed there and thought it was more the club than him. May not be the exact reason but shows he got the fans on board while he was there. And at a lower level, the metric is are you at least above average. He was over two years at Boro and the average for Championship manager is under a year. It is a manager bounce league where competent managers are regularly rotated through clubs. This isn't a guarantee but with the caretaker spells, it is enough for me to give him a chance.
I hope the goal is not to become a possession, tactical team. United about natural football, transition, speed, creativity, moments

Last time I saw a coat/jacket/top like Joe's, Margaret Rutherford was wearing it.
