My cousin has played in Soccer Aid games, he's a goalie (Chris Moore, think he had a talk w Paddock not long ago actually about playing for you), one of them he played in Heskey put one past him from 35-40 yards 😅
Also, by the by, I wonder if a bit of the stick Wout gets might be in part inspired by the hopes expressed by people with platforms like you guys have.
Before we saw him in action, a few people on this channel even, were saying that if he came in and got a goal every 2 or 3 games, that would be great. He could still potentially come good with regards to goals but I think we have all seen how much he has been bringing to the team and I think we can probably agree that he has been very good for us.
Even when we have our "marquis" no.9 I can see Wout playing a role. He clearly brings a lot more than goals that the manager sees. Hence the reason he starts every game.
As long as De Gea is in goal the opposition know that he will always gift them at least 2 chances per game . To be a really top team there is no way in this world you can do that .

Reminds of Dirk Kuyt I loved him but his second touch is was normally a tackle
We need a goalkeeper that can build up play. It's as simple as that really.
