One thing for me is absolutely clear - IF we get CL football next season, it makes this upcoming pre-season absolutely essential in respect to Ruben having the appropriate time with the squad, as we're not gonna get that again next season playing twice a week
The further we slip the more glorious we become I reckon we could become the first Champions of Europe relegated in the same season and I’ll love this club another 40 years
I'm not that arsed either way to be honest. Winning a trophy is better than not winning one, plus it will really piss off all our rivals, but on the orher hand it doesn't change the fact we've had our worst domestic season in half a century and i really think not having european football is what is really needed. We could trim the squad right down and only playing once a week will give Amorim time on the training ground. We need a proper reset season. Playing in the champions league is not what we need.

I legitimately cannot imagine us losing. It's something I just can't fathom. It's the biggest game in over a decade given the implications.
I'm not even thinking about the trophy, I just want to time travel past the game with us winning.

I don’t think we have fully understood the monumental screw up this season in the Premiership. We were very lucky to not be relegated.
