Knowing how fickle and hysterical fans tend to be, an apology can actually be a reminder that the players, the staff, and the club are human beings with feelings and with families and friends who have feelings.
So much of it is United’s social media’s fault, constantly posting crap like “win together lose together” 🤮 Even when a player might want to dip out of the limelight for a couple of days the club constantly posting pictures of them gives a mouthpiece to idiots who might want to go after the players.
Love the analysis and banter from this channel. On this topic don’t apologise just do it on the pitch make sure the next time we play Villa that they regret pulling that Arsenal 2001 RVN shit on Bruno and make their keeper regret that he did that stupid little dance
If the apology is in the form of an extremely positive reaction on the pitch from every single player in the squad for the rest of their careers at Manchester United. Then I’m all for it 😂😂
I remember that Viz once did a "so, you think you're a premier league footballer" and dealt with public apologies head-on. The answer to "how do you say sorry for cheating on your missus in public" was "rounding the keeper and sticking one in the back of the net".
Sir ole Gunnar is a true hero legend of this club it' was the best day in a long time when I heard he got the job He's red trough and through and a disciple of the greatest manager we ever had,and I'm sure still listens to the boss. Let's not be hasty I say give him a decade or so

Then the over criticism of our players is the same. As you said the players always do their best to their ability.

Forget social media. This isn't high school. Apologize on the pitch.

You know who'd be loved by the fans? A good player that doesn't have social media.
