There's a really good interview on 'The Business of Football' podcast that explains the financial side of what's going on and the weird predicament Ineos have put themselves into and why they want to go ahead with the new stadium despite the mess we"re in.
Basically, the debt has reached a point where we can longer sustain the type of spending we were doing before Ineos. The only way to boost the value of the club now is the new stadium. Once the funding is secured to begin building it, either the Glazers will buy out Ineos or vice versa. Ineos have a way to transfer United's debt onto Ineos' accounts.
No coincidence all their clubs are struggling and not a single fanbase of their clubs likes them... but local lad is putting the Manchester back in the club by cutting jobs and making shambolic errors after error
Every time I see the advert for the Dublin show, I'm reminded of the bloke from the Fyre festival documentary. Good on Joe for taking one for the team.
Ratcliffe has already established himself as the most tight fisted and inept of all the owners in the Premiership. If he really was a United supporter he would sell up and slope off back to Monaco
It's so frustrating that you keep this pot boiling. Amorim sacked himself. Who was the alternative to Carrick this summer? Who? Iraola? Would that be "strategy"? Still no guarantee this group of players wouldn't be in exactly the same position with Emery. Everyone slates INEOS for not doing something as if just doing something is better than waiting for the best opportunity. Joe, Enrique is more likely to come after winning a third CL with PSG than he is right now.
HBO's follow up to Succession will be about Ratcliffe, if has been confirmed. It's a comedy with horror elements with Joe playing a ypunf Ratcliffe

I watched the Business of sport video released yesterday, it's absolutely shocking what they've done to our club. Glazers out, INEOS out!!!!

Joe is spot on about the amount of stuff Carrick is having to do as a manager… he’s not even the fucking manager
