As a boss when your back is against the wall and you don't know who you can trust to get you out the sh*t... You have to create a situation where you force them to show their true colours. If he has properly kicked off, called them out and sat back and watched the reaction, he's done the right thing. He's basically set a trap.
The ones who just didn't care, rolled their eyes or went a moaned to a journalist (no offence Laurie!)... He knows they're not up for the fight, aren't taking accountability, can't start games and have to go.
Don't be surprised if you see a few academy players being called up into the first team to send a message to the players and INEOS. Amorim told us after just ONE WEEK with these players it was going to be bad, and he wasn't lying. Fans just didn't realise how bad he meant because a lot of us blamed ETH for literally all the problems and thought we'd magically be a top 4 club again when he left... Nope. This is almost 2 decades of gross mismanagement finally coming to a head and I hope this is rock bottom...
The fact Laurie Whitwell explained that Amorim phrased it with 'here's your headline'... gives me a lot of respect for him as a journalist. I find him interesting to listen to and he doesn't just repeat everything we already know, he gives an opinion you want to sit and listen to. And he's not also just trying to sensationalise everything. He's balanced - and way more honest in his opinion than 90% of mainstream journalists.... I'm sick to death of journo's just repeating club/player press releases. You get much less of that with Laurie.
Every single player needs to be told by the club through letter or whatever means that the Manager will remain in place no matter what and there is no waiting it out till he is gone. Either shape up or you’ll be out the door.

Ineos can't buy a new TV until the summer transfer window, due to PSR

The tele was probably 32 years old and not even working properly. Makes sense for us.

I’m with Amorim 100% it’s about time there was a reaction!

“INEOS have decided not to sign any players this window due to the costs of replacing a 4k tv and the impact that has on PSR rules”
