The offside problem is easy to solve! The solution is locked in the game! When is it a throw-in? When the ball is COMPLETELY over the sideline! When is it a goal? When the ball is COMPLETELY over the goal line! So...when is it offside! When the attacker is COMPLETELY past the last defender. It is only offside when there is daylight between the attacker and defender! Only then is the attacker COMPLETELY OUTSIDE THE GAME! It's that simple!
When VAR was first introduced it was advised that it would only be over turning clear and obvious errors. The issue with it is they’ve become so invested in it that they actively go looking for shit. If you have to zoom in, look from every angle, draw lines in it and get the magnifying glass out, then it’s not clear and obvious.
From a completely unbiased view (Burnley fan) since Klopp called out Paul Teirney for being useless last year they’ve shafted Liverpool almost every week. If you mention another club that can effect the future decisions they get but if you complain yourself you almost get blacklisted.
Yes I’ve been asking forthis for ages fortunately Arsene Wenger has put this proposal forward & Infantino apparently likes the idea it must be clear daylight between the striker & last defender to be offside if they overlap discounting arms it’s onside 🤷🏼♂️ pretty easy & what I’ve wanted for long enough VAR is making me loose my love for the game 👍🏼🏴 btw this comment was a reply to the comment below 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️👍🏼🏴

Everyone focused on Liverpool, but nobody talked about the handball in our game ffs. Apparently if you turn your back to the ball it is not handball.

Use the European model for handball. Hits the hand=handball. Keep your hands tucked in the box. At least it'll be consistent.
