That card decision really smells. It reminds me of match fixing. Whatever the story, the ref made the wrong decision over the throw in at a crucial time in the game. Are we not allowed to be passionate on the field of play any more?
On tv in the USA the commentators said the var official was heard asking Oliver for an explanation of the 2 yellows so that means his fellow refs were just as confused as anyone who wasn't a liverpool fan.
The club needs to defend itself more. There are particular referees who disproportionately give us red cards and they should not be allowed to ref our games. Oliver being a Newcastle fan he shouldn't be allowed to ref the top 10 teams.
