The whole "but look what happened with Ole" thing needs to end
First of all, Carrick and Ole are 2 different people
And even with that, people act as if we gave Ole the job permanently and then what happened in the last season is how it went straight
We literally had our 2 best/most consistent season post season after Ole got the job
There was progression steadily happening over the first 2 seasons and then at the first sign of regression, the trigger was pulled to get rid
So if Carrick carries on the way he is, and continues to show he's a more than competent manager, then there's no reason to not give him the job
(And especially not if you're just basing on Ole)
At least Carrick has brought standards back. We were constantly getting excuses as to why we couldn’t win back to back games. Now we’re winning games consistently but fans want to criticize performances.
Shut up about this ole thing. Ole did well. We tried external experienced best in class managers and they were worse. We tried 2 young trendy managers and they were mediocre. But neville and the other commentators ignore that.
How can an intelligent person expect perfection and domination from a squad and manager who have spent 2 months together? NO ONE in this league is perfect and dominates every single game. It baffles me that after 18/20 points and being undefeated under Carrick there are still Debby downers.
My fear is we might see a Roberto Di Matteo with Carrick. I really hope we don't and we sign enough players to handle the schedule next season

Stop talking about Solskjaer as if it was a disaster. It wasn’t. Signing Ronaldo was. Woodward did that.
