Ralf said it. “Open heart surgery is needed”. The man knew what he was talking about.

Antony-scouts said worth 25,board paid 85. Paid 20k p/w we have him 120k p/w. That’s how poor Utd have been. Huge difference when we get qualified football people in rw ruitmwnt

Ronnie yet again speaking facts. Ten hag needs all his players to be absolutely world class or we're just expected to accept 1/10 performances against relegation battlers, bar Kane and de jong he's had every signing he's asked for and then there's the style of play thing we've seen this season 2 managers ange/emri both come to new clubs and get them playing a set style of attractive football. Ten hag has to go along side Antony and Rashford

Shouldn't the selling strategy just be the following?

    1. Choose a style of play for the next decade.
    2. Keep players who fit that style of play, and sell those that don't.
    3. Gradually improve on the squad based on players' performance in that style of play.

I understand Ten Hag has been poor this season but, man, we’re in the second season of an “open heart surgery” rebuild with new part-owners, 6,000,000 injuries, and a squad comprised of players signed by 3 different managers and we expect him to compete for top 4 when there is EASILY 5-6 squads in the league better than ours, especially with our injury list.

Not to mention we have literally one striker who’s in his first season, constantly injured defenders, underperforming older players (Casemiro, Varane, Rashford, etc.), and piss poor recruitment for the last 10+ years.

Every manager post-SAF has failed, so why don’t we learn? Give him time and stop ditching a manager when soooo many other aspects of the club have to improve first.

You guys have short memories. Do you not remember Ajax saying sign Antony before a certain date, or the price be hiked? We had the chance at the beginning of the transfer window to buy him for like 30m waited to the end and got mugged. It's the clubs job to do better in the cost per player, and why do we wait till almost the last day to do business at stupid prices. Also, ETH wanted control of transfers as Ed was a idiot and he didn't want an idiot playing Fifa to pick our players

Thank god Joe is back. Needed someone who sees the positive sides of Erik Ten Hag.

Our high wage bill is another sign of the board messing up. We have strangled managers by not being able to move players on.
