I thought United, overall, gave a promising performance against Brighton and unlucky not to win the game. Social media exponentially exaggerates any positive or negative, I ignore social media just for the sake of my own blood pressure because of the ill considered downright stupidity liberally displayed there. I do however listen to you guys a few days later and by and large get a proper considered reaction, rather than the crap spouted by so called expert pundits who didn’t see the game and spout cheap nonsense
I shouldn't be surprised by the volume and intensity of the negativity toward United right now (and it IS toward United; the players, manager, and staff are a large part of United), but it is insanity.
Support the squad. Support the manager. Support the staff. We want them to do better: sure. We ALWAYS want that. Always. But let's let up on the accelerator a bit. This overreaction is absolute madness. Calm down, pull your slacks up, and put your belt on. There's 36 more league matches. I just can't imagine being in my grandmother's basement, seething, using all of this energy to keep this kind of intense vitriol up for the next 10 months. Have a Hot Pocket, shit in a bucket, and take a moment away from the keyboard. I'm floored by all of this.
