Ugarte £50m
Van de Beek £40m+
Antony £85m+
Sancho £75m
Onana £50m
Mount £50m+
Casemiro £60m+
Hoijlund £65m+
Debt 1Bn+ (and growing).
That's an in-sane amount of money gone out, and all that's come in really is from
McTominay (£30m?), Hoijlund (£45m?) and Greenwood (£15m?).
Couldn't sell Ugarte, (before he got injured) or get a penny for:
Rashford, Onana, Sancho
Lots of bits on twitter tonight about the left back ‘trying to get a couple of deals done but won’t overpay’ absolutely brilliant strategy Ineos wait until the last minute when clubs are under no pressure to sell, to sign a left back who isn’t good enough and probably a stop gap centre mid, this might actually have been our worst summer transfer window I can remember. And I’m old enough for remember the Ronaldo / Kleberson / Dejmba-Djemba window.
This summer should have been building a title challenge but right now we’re going to be in a scrap for top 5 and getting pumped in europe
