I was born in Carlisle near where the Sickamoor Tree was cut down. Have a photograph there with my Grandad while he was still alive. The wet wipes who did it got such harsh sentences as the tree was a protected national historic site that people came from all over to see. They cost the area alot of money in tourism revenue. Kevin Costner & Morgan Freeman famously fought off the Sheriff of Nottinghams men under that tree 😅
