With the upcoming ten games, I’ll be happy if we come out of them with 18 points. Assuming we continue a reasonable trajectory of progress, hitting this run of games next season I might expect 21-24 points, but with how poor we were last season and the massive step up required for us to be where we want to be, I just don’t see an expectation of more than 18 points being reasonable.
The thing that’s going to kill us this season isn’t our peak performances - it’s our lack of consistency. That’s not a failing of Amorim - it’s a feature of a not-great team getting better. Our peak performances are decent and we will eventually bring consistency to that, but for the moment I expect us to continue seeing occasional mistakes in games we might normally expect to win.

Ivory Coast (Amad) and Cameroon (Mbeumo) are in the same group for AFCON, so a good possibility one of them returning early

What temperature was it in the Paddock studio yesterday? Ronny's indoors in June and Joe's outside in November.
